Class Sha-Si-Lei-Tsk (Chalet)

Saturday, January 02, 2010

Yes! I think I shall update on my class Sha-Si-Lei-Tsk (Chalet) before I update on OLIP, mumbocamp and Children X'MAS Party!

Since Class Sha-Si-Lei-Tsk's post is going to be a short post! Actually hor, I only wanted to just post the group picture! But I guess I should at least pen down a few paragraphs lah!

And if you all wondering what with the "Sha-Si-Lei-Tsk" thingy going on. Well, that word is sort of created by me. It's began like this:

We asked monitor if he wanted to attend this holiday chalet. And then I was trying to recall what is the chinese name for "Chalet" and I just blurted out "Sha-si-lei-tsk"!

Okay, not really the main point of this post. Just want to let you know how that word came about!

The main point:

Love you guys!!!

Though not many attended and a few actually decides to play aeroplane. I am sure that the few of us who came should have enjoyed that night!

We went for night bowling. And its lucky that we had our own transport that day! Two motorbikes and a car! Sat Xiang Long's bike and we travelled to E-Hub from Costa Sands for our night bowling.

We did visited the so called haunted house; Red House. But we only went there to see see. :)

During the night, played some games and true or dare! I love Nova's itouch's "True or Dare" Application! Damn fun! The first Dare that Ming Yue had to do was to smell all of our foot! Mad hilarious lah!

Pictures can be found at my facebook! (But that would mean that you have to be my friend!)

We went for Escape the next day! But, I think it's not worth the time and money! (Luckily we spent $9 per person only! Or was it $3?)

That somehow summarize my Ke-La-Si Sha-Si-Lei-Tsk! :)

Project Is

Saturday, December 19, 2009

I don't really know how shall I start. This is dated like two weeks ago. Initially, I want to blog it nicely/professionally so I can interest you people reading my blog and hopefully after reading and looking at the pictures I posted... some of you might want to volunteer yourself and bring fun to the kids! But I just don't know how shall blog it out to make it like it movitates people to join volounteer work in the future!

So I figured out, I shall just blog whatever comes in my mind! Haha

So right now, I am gonna update on "Project Is"!

What is "Project Is" all about? Its actually an one day program in a care center whereby volunteers volunteer themselves and have fun with the children there! Just play and guide the children from one station game to another lah!

And yes! I was the organiser for "Project Is"! And why I named this project, "Project Is"?

I am going to explain now so just bear with me a little while before we start the interesting part! And I do hope you understand what I am typing! :P

The "Is" is pronounced as "I(s)" or "I's" instead of "is". Many I = Is.

You get it anot? You get it anot??!!

The "I" represent all of the volunteers who participated and it also mean "love" since it has the same pronounciation as "ai" which means "love" in chinese.

Damn, I not very sure if I explain it well anot. But WHATEVER!

Let me introduce the creator of Ultimate Project's Creator(s)
PS: I didnt go edit the pictures so yeah...

Raine & Tong!

Photobucket
And that's me! Giving instructions to the children! Nervous!

Tong and Raine performed a magic show to the kids! (Though I got to admit THIS magic show is very lame and -_-")

They are going to make Tong float.

Photobucket
See how engrossed I am!

After that, it's time for the children to break into four groups whereby two volunteers which I assigned ealier on will take charge of them.

First thing first! ICE BREAKING!

While the other volunteers playing ice breaking games with the kids, I went around snapping pictures.

Photobucket
Lovely handicraft made by the kids!

After the ice breaking, we went straight for mass games. We played Animal Calling, Captain on Deck and one more game which I do not have the name for it! :P

It's first time experience for me to give instructions infront of so many children so I was kinda nerve cracking! And not to mention, I have to make sure they are not talking before I can start! Thanks to my lovely instructors/friends/volunteers who helped me to "slience" them so I can start.

If not I really have no idea what to do! hahaha!

Pictures of mass games!

Edwin & his "son" and "daughter"

I think it was noon time when we finished the mass games. The children have to go for wash up or lunch. I really cant remember. But we (the volunteers and myself) didnt slack around okay!

We went on to prepare for our next program which is station games. There's a total of five station. Water Collecting, Entangle + Pass it on, Number 1-50, AEIOE and Balance It.

(Phew, I still can remember all the games!)

PRIN-TAC-GLES (Tic-Tac-Toe)

Hmm..how shall I place my pringles?

I shall set a trap!

Let you all see the PRIN-TAC-GLES

And I won! (Mine is the round pringles!)

Try using pringles instead of drawing on a piece of paper! I am sure it's gonna be Krrunch!

Lastly, I shall turn these pringles chips into...

PRINGLES CARDS!

And I got ROYAL FLUSH!

What? What you mean you can't see my royal flush?!

Surrogates Movie Review

Wednesday, September 30, 2009

Photobucket

Have you ever dreamt that if you can have the ability to go out of your house in another identity or someone (something) that can represent you to do your daily chores, going for work and meetings while all you do was stay at home and control it?

Isn’t that awesome? It’s just like a perfect tool and all so convenient!

In the movie: Surrogates; you can experience how is it like to be in another identity. In other words, a robot that represents you.

Surrogates, adapted from the comic book The Surrogates and directed by Jonathan Mostow. (Hancock & Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines ß He just loves robots eh?)

Starring Bruce Willis as Agent Tom Greer, the brave agent who is the MUST-SEE in the movie!

Photobucket

The movie begins with a murder when both the surrogate and the user are killed, not a normal murdering case since you are not suppose to die when your surrogate is damaged. So Agent Tom becomes the only person left to solve this case in his real flesh (Since his surrogate is beyond repair during a chase)

Not my type of movie but I say it’s pretty good. The exciting part of the movie will be during the chase part, all the explosive, surrogate crashing and BOOM BANG are all included in this scene.

Aiya! I write so much might no help also! You go watch trailer and see if you like it anot!?

But I say this movie is for you if you are a fan of action movie of Bruce Willis.

Rating: 7 out of 10 stars, wait is popcorn better?

AHH!! I don’t have the image for the rating!!!

Catch Surrogates at cinema on 1st October 2009 (which is tomorrow!)

PS: Thanks NuffnangSG for the movie screening.

PS2: FYI hor, this is my first time writing a movie review!

Mad About Hair Salon

Tuesday, September 29, 2009

-
Okay! I reckon that I shall blog this out to get it out of my mind! Maybe I can feel better?

A while ago, I was watching some show on television on the sofa when a particular show commercial showed up.

(You know? Those commercial whereby it shows you what happened in the next episode of the show? Something like sneak preview. Oh wait! It's called sneak preview is it?)

It's some variety show that featured a famous hairdresser teaching an auntie how to cut hair, in other words, how to be a hairdresser lah...

But the auntie was kinda inexperience and dropped the comb. So her instructor, (the famous hairdresser obviously...) told her:

"When you drop the comb, you must pick it up and wash it!"

"If you drop the second time, the customer have the right not to let you cut his/her hair!"

This two lines kinda make me mad! You know why? Because this is what happened for my last haircut!

The bloody hairdresser dropped her comb two times when she cut my hair! And I don't remember she went to wash the comb! $#%#$#%#$

On top of that, her service was really bad! When she is done with the haircut, she didn't help me to style my hair. I was kinda hoping she offer the service since I am going out after that.

All hair salon help to style your hair after they cut your hair right? No?

But she didn't!!!

So I told her:

"Could you put some wax or do something for my hair?"

Her reply was something like:

"Huh? What do you mean?!"

*Aiya, I actually couldn't remember what's her reply was but she did said "huh?"

Sometimes, I really hate myself!

I think I am just too soft hearted or what! When she dropped her comb, I was like suspecting her level of hairdressing skill already. But I just didn't make any sound about it.

I should really voiced it out and say:

"Sorry, you bloody dropped the comb and didn't wash it! Get another person and cut my hair!"

But no, I didn't! (Told you I am too soft hearted!) and I don't dare to tell her that, like I am afraid I will hurt her or what.

Sometimes, I can be very stubborn and insisted my way like Students should not pay their busfare (when using coins) more than what they should pay.

And sometimes, I can be "Xin Ruan Ruan" like this haircut issue!

I am always at a losing end when it comes to getting a haircut. I always let the hairdresser psycho me and then at the end of the day, I will get moody because I got a bad haircut or it's not the hair I want.

Oh ya, that hairdresser kept psycho-ing me to do hair rebonding when I told her at least three times that I do not want!

I know you want to earn money lah but it's very irritating when someone told you no and yet you still ask again!

You know? I have friends who is very picky when it comes to haircut. They COMMAND the hairdresser and stop them when they think the hairdresser overdo the haircut or they realised it's not the hair they are after.

Not for me, I sort of respect the one cutting my hair lah! Only at rare occasion I guess.

Now that I am coming to the end of this entry, I realised I am losing track the main purpose of this post.

Anyway, I am really very mad that she didn't wash the comb after she dropped it and that I didn't stop her when she dropped the comb again!

Am not going there ever again! And I am going to be very strict for my next haircut! I hope?

PS: If anyone interested, the hair salon I went was Yishun's Alan & Guy.

PS2: And since I am at this hair topic now! Tell you all! A portion of my hair is maddy red now!

Twitter...Have You Twitter yet?

Friday, September 25, 2009

-
You know? With new media like Twitter being introduced to us. It's no wonder why we don't blog that often now. Yes, I am blaming Twitter. XD

I am sure some of you already know, especially my friends since I am flooding their Facebook page with all my Tweets. I am all over at Twitter now.

What's so special about Twitter actually? Why am I like so mad (somthing like that) about Twitter?

All I can tell you, is that Twitter is like a tool for communications and well, stalking your favourite people. Get it?

After these two points, Twitter is nothing but an application for you to type out your thoughts and share it with your followers.

(While typing this, I cant believe I am actually obsessed with it! )

Oh maybe you can add this point,

Who got the most followers in Twitter.

Don't lie! I am sure some of you, Twitter users have this mindset:

"Oh! I have 35 more followers than Molly the Monkey!"

"Aww! Why did Luffy the Lion have 1 more follower than me! What's so special about him? He's nothing but some mane monster!"

HAHAHA!! Yes! Everyone loves to compete! And I am one of them!

I remember there was this website I chanced upon while Twitstalking, asking people to vote for Mr.Twitter and blahblah blah!

Okay! Sorry folks! But I am rusing this post now so I wont miss my Survivor!!

I think Twitter should have this "Who stalk View Your Twitter Profile" (Something like Friendster) function. I am actually very kpo curious about who view my Twitter Profile. I dont know why!

Something like this!

Muawahahahhaha! Okay! I just edited away the "Who Followed You"

Oh! I am picked up a topic and blogged about it! WOOT!!

On a sad note, if some of you had yet know...

The author of Crayon Shinchan, Yoshito Usui is dead.

It's a tragic accident that he die when he was taking photo during his mountain hiking.

R.I.P Yoshito Usui, I really loves Crayon Shinchan.

PS: Even better, for those who don't know who is Crayon Shinchan. Click here

PS2: AHHHHHH!!!! SURVIVOR WAS TELECAST AT 5pm TODAY!! DAMN YOU F1! Luckily, there is a re-telecast.

Prawning Sessions with Classgang!

Thursday, September 24, 2009

-
Holiday life sucks when you don't have money at all! I am the soon-to-be "Zai Nan" AKA Otaku.

This holidays, almost all my friends are working their ass off, earning money. Except for me, I am rotting at home.

Note: I would love to go out with my friends but it's very hard when you don't have money!

Actually I just don't have the motivation to find new part time jobs and I am really reluctant to go back working at POPULAR.

Yeah, I admit! I just wanted people to spoon feed me with jobs lobang. In other words, I am just lazy to look for part time jobs.

I gave excuse to myself that it's hard to find part time job nowadays during this holiday. But it's the fact right? No?

So what I did during this holidays? I slept at around 4am everyday, woke up at around noon time. Wash up and start my frequent routine in the net.

When I get really really bored. I bloghop and Twitstalk. *fear*

Yeah baby! I am such a stalker! Muawahahahah!

And I realised that some bloggers look for topics to update their blog, they blog interesting stuff and make the entry entertaining. Have you all seen this??

*DE DOODLE BLOG'S DRAWINGS ARE SO CUTE!!!*

Seriously, I don't really go dig a topic and tried to blog about it, I find it very weird leh!

So for my blog, I guess it's more of personal stuff as I blog about the outings and birthday celebrations I had with my friends. (but sometimes I do find it boring...) I guess it's part of memories eh?! Then when I am old, I can read through all my blog post.

One more thing I would like to add on and that will be..

WALAU! WHAT WAS I THINKING WHEN I FIRST CREATED MY BLOG AH?!

Why did I used such a long ass name for my blog url!?

Believe me! None of my friend actually remember my blog url! The least they go is:

"Something dumb dumb dumb dumby bellz blogspot lor!?"

Blog URL. Failed. And it's too late to change now! (At least that's what I think!)

Luckily, you can just google dumbellz and the first link will be my blog.

Prawning Sessions @ Bishan.

Last Tuesday, I went out with Jia hao, Xiang Long, Wee Xiang, Ming Yue, Nova and her boyfriend, Zaw to Bishan/Marymount Prawn Farm for prawn-ing sessions.

Kinda excited about it since it's my first time going for prawning sessions and especially this outing wasn't organised by me but Xiang Long.

I met up with Jia Hao first and went for a hair cut so bascially, I had a bad hair day throughout the session. Then shopped around Northpoint and Junction 8 around 3pm.

We reached the farm around 6:30pm and we go for the 3 hours for $30 prawn fishing session.

Wee Xiang, Jia Hao and I shared a rod. I had miserable time hooking a prawn but Xiang Long was really good at it.

Photobucket
Xiang Long. Eh! Did he drop his rod or what?

All of us were hungry at the middle of the prawn fishing sessions, Nova and I went to the Tzhe Char stall to get some food. After that, we were still hungry so we ordered some BBQ chicken wings and satays.

Photobucket

Photobucket

I was lucky enough to fished the biggest prawn among us right after the staff told us that our prawn fishing time was up.

SEE! I AM NOT A NOOB LAH HOR!! SUPER HAPPY LAH!!! HAHAHA!!

After that, we went to the BBQ pit and start the preparation for the BBQ. Washed the prawns and start the fire.

I am guilty because I just sat down while the rest busy preparing the fire and the BBQ.

Photobucket
All the five busy busy preparing...

Show you all some chio prawns!!

Photobucket

Photobucket
Very red and yummy!

Photobucket
Fanning the fire.

Photobucket
Our catch for the day.

In total, we caught like around 30 of them? Sadly, I don't really like to eat prawn but I actually tried the prawn's egg which is bloody tasty lah!

Photobucket
WHOOHOO!!

We actually fed some prawn for the stray cat there. Is this consider as animal abusing? =x

I shall end this post with my picture.
